I've Changed My Mind...

...about Katharine McPhee on American Idol.  As many of you may remember, I predicted not long ago that Elliot Yamin and Katharine McPhee would make it to the final 2 in the show and went on to predict that Elliot would win.  Well, I have changed my mind.  Not based on any recent events (like Katharine being in the bottom three this past week----WAKE UP AMERICA!) but based on a conversation I had with someone today at church. 

I had the privilege of meeting Denny and Leesa Bellesi. (the founding pastor and his wife of Coast Hills)  They are incredible people I might add.  Long story short........Leesa met Katharine at the church where Denny is presently interim pastor.......Katharine approached Leesa and asked if they could meet ........... a short time later Katharine accepted Christ as her Savior as a result of their meeting and relationship!!!   YEA GOD!!

I also had the privilege of meeting Nick, Katharine's boyfriend (Leesa introduced me) today after 2nd service.  (yes guys, Katharine is VERY taken)  He is a very nice man and also a christian.  So now that I know that Katharine has a new reason and inspiration for her singing..........and now that she's a SISTA..........she has my vote from now on to WIN IT!  Go Katharine!!  I've got the McPheever!  You sing for an audience of One now.
